For the first time, the members of the Banannefabrik are taking part in the European Heritage Days! For 2026, the Days are placed under the theme "Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reinvent". They invite everyone to explore, protect and share cultural heritage, to ensure it remains alive and meaningful for future generations.

A former fruit warehouse turned into a place of contemporary creation, the Banannefabrik invites you to discover its history, its spaces and its creativity today. Come and see it like never before, through theatrical guided tours revealing the backstage of the venue. Workshops, performances and other surprises to discover over two days!

 

Friday 16 October

• 4pm - 9pm - Jubiläums 30 Joer screening
  On the occasion of its 30th anniversary in 2025, MASKéNADA gives the floor to its members to share their memories, experiences and vision of the collective. A book has been created, featuring not only descriptions and accounts of the projects carried out over the past 30 years, but also short video excerpts accessible via QR codes. Through these many voices, a story emerges - one of encounters, creations and commitment. These audiovisual excerpts celebrate 30 years of an ever-evolving artistic and human adventure.

Saturday 17 October

 

• 10:30am - 12pm - Workshop 16+: Body of Presence with Piera Jovic (LU, FR, DE, EN)
  Movement practices help us become more aware of ourselves, the others and the space. No prior dance experience required. From 16+. This workshop is intertwined with Fabienne Hollwege's "Body, Voice & Expression". It is, however, not mandatory to take part in both workshops.

• 1:30pm - 3pm - Workshop 14+: Body, Voice and Expression with Fabienne Elaine Hollwege (LU, DE)
  Explore your body, free your voice, free yourself & be present. Movement, breath, vocal sound and expression are closely interconnected. By consciously activating these areas, strengthen and unfold your own personality. Using playful exercises from acting, voice therapy, improvisation and relaxation, activate and loosen the body, and give your own voice room to grow.
  
  
• 4pm - 4:30pm - Reading and conversation with Mandy Thiery (LU, DE) - MASKéNADA
  
  
• 5:30pm - 7:30pm - DJ set - AAMAR
